Dear Customer:

In order for CD Digital’s packaging department to operate at maximum efficiency we need to request that printed materials arrive at CD Digital at least 5 days before scheduled shipping. Any materials arriving after the 5 day period, without prior notification will be subject to rescheduling at that time for the next available date.

Since CD Digital begins to arrange manufacturing process as soon as the P.O., Master Source Tape, and Label Film are submitted, we usually have discs waiting to be packed when print arrives. While we are proud to provide this service, scheduling conflicts can be created when print arrives too late to be packaged and then shipped on the original ship date. It is easy to see how a bottleneck results when we try to immediately facilitate late jobs while also maintaining our current schedule, especially during the busy season.

As the customer, the best way to ensure the most desired ship date is to indicate on your purchase order when you expect print to be arriving at CD Digital. Of course, any changes to this schedule should be communicated to us at your earliest convenience. Purchase orders without information regarding material arrival will still be assigned a ship date and manufactured, but run the risk of being rescheduled if the previously detailed conditions are not adhered to.

What we are asking is for your help when it comes to the scheduling of your orders. By communicating with us, we can ensure that your product is shipped to you in the shortest possible time.

Of course, we all know the benefits of having printed material in house before orders are placed. If you need sources for your graphics and printing we’ll be more than happy to provide you with names of such companies.

CD MANUFACTURING REQUIREMENTS

CD DIGITAL is committed to deliver the highest quality audio/multimedia disc products and best services, on-time delivery at exceptional low prices. Our goal is the total customer satisfaction. In order to keep our prices low, we do not extend credit. All orders must be accompanied with a 50% deposit and the balance must be paid by credit card, money order or cashiers check. Shipping maybe delayed pending clearance of your personal or company check. For orders outside the United States, we require full payment with your order by International money order, or Direct Bank Deposit (no CODs).

Order form/purchase order signed, specifying: disk title, order quantity, label ink colors, packaging instructions, shipping address(s) and instructions.

Indemnification agreement with authorized signature(s).

Label film which conforms to applicable CD label specification/screen print.

Data and/or audio input which conforms to applicable CD data input specification or CD audio master source specification.

Customer supplied printed packaging materials. Please provide 10% more than quantity of discs ordered. Jewel case inserts must conform to applicable CD inlay card and booklet specifications. Printed material must arrive the same day as source.

All customer supplied materials must be accompanied by a packing list that includes the following information: Customer name, CD title, CD DIGITAL work order No. or customer selection No. description of contents (i.e., input media, label film, booklets, inlay cards, etc.), quantity of each item, total number of cartons shipped. Failure to enclose a complete packing list may result in a handling charge and/or order delay.

Cancellation of orders in process will incur charges according to the stage of completion at the time cancellation.

CD DIGITAL will not manufacture orders containing material CD DIGITAL considers to be obscene, libelous or otherwise unlawful, including material which may be construed as pornographic or an invasion of privacy or a violation of the personal or proprietary rights of an individual. If during processing, CD DIGITAL discovers said material, CD DIGITAL will not complete the job. CD DIGITAL will return any/all customers material and will bill the customer for time and materials used to that point. If a completed order is subsequently discovered to contain said materials, CD DIGITAL will pursue all available legal remedies to protect itself and recover from the customer any damages, losses or charges suffered by CD DIGITAL.
